November 6, 2009 1:08 am | #3ha, oh my god your hilarious, yeah dude i got the jvc grd700 from walmart its about 300 bucks total, not that bad since it has a built in digital camera that takes an sd card, but yeah the cannon looks great, i actually considered getting that one but instead got the jvc and im very pleased with it

November 6, 2009 3:36 am | #6Hi. Yes, I did go back and buy the camera. I’ve been very busy in the last 3 months, so I haven’t done much with it yet beyond shooting test footage of my cats. But I’m very happy with it. Great audio, great video, lots of good features, automated controls & manual overrides. For 4 years I’ve had a Canon still camera, so being used to their menus, I quickly got used to this one’s menus. No problems yet. So far so good!
