hi guys I’ve been trying to convert the camcorder’s movie into the vcd or dvd but the software I’ve got with the camcorder is useless. I mean there’s useless information to convert it and at the end I cant convert as a vcd or dvd. so guys pls help me & solve this matter 4 me. Thanks a lot & i’ve got Sondy Digital Handycam which use’s 8mm normal camcorder tape

You would need an AV capture device to transfer the videos to your computer – since the 8mm videotape is an analog source.
Another option would be to use a stand-alone DVD recorder – simply connect from your camcorders output to the DVD recorder’s input.
