    Or you can copy the video file from the camcorder to the computer and convert it to a file format MovieMaker can deal with like avi or wmv.
    Try StreamClip.

    Yea you’ll have to download the codec from Microsoft.

    I had a simalar problem… simply copy and paste the files, into the movie maker library, after importing them to your computer…
