The mini dvds don’t slide into my apple the way full-sized dvds do, they just get stuck and when I put them into the pc it says ‘this format is unrecognised…’. I am asked to format the dvds at the beginning and choose ‘video’. Is this the problem?
I just bought a panasonic mini dvd camcorder. How do I play my recordings back on my pc and apple?

After you’ve fill up the disc, you need to ‘finalize’ it in the camcorder before the disc can be viewed in DVD players/drives.

If your Mac has a slot loading drive, then you shouldn’t even be trying to insert the mini dvd. It should work if there is mini disc depression (couldn’t think of the right name) on a tray loading Mac.
