well .. you said that it has image stabilization which other pocket camcorders dont .. so i would say that even though it isnt that great its still cool that this camera has it .. also .. they shouldve made this camera with a light to record with like … and im not too sure about the optical zoom  .. i think the zoom that the zi8 has is sufficient for a pocket cam corder

Thanks for the comments.I made those comments b/c I believe that in 2 years the pocket camcorder technology will have advanced enough to that most will have optical zooms, better low-light recording quality and a lot better stabilization. I might have been a little harsh in the review but still, the Kodak Zi8 is my #1 favorite gadget at the moment. - Joey

some ppl have such high expectation for pocket camcorders. it will not be like a high end prosumer camcorder. that aside, good video and very informative.

Yeah I agree. It is like the photo taking quality on my cell phone compared to a normal digital camera. My cell phone takes great pics for a cell phone but it still does not compare to a normal digital camera.Thanks for the comp.- Joey

Question-so zi8 will record 10 mins per GB on both 1080 at 30 and 720 at 60?
