Not 2 sound like I’m that much against windows but I use to work at circuit city and that’s all they use to sell and I’ve use about every new hp, sony, toshiba, that’s came out in the past 2 years and 3 gb of ram should be able to edit 1080 content but depending on how much of the 3gb you still have free could be the problem, and processing power and witch graphics card makes a big diffrence as well, my dad has a quad hp tower with 4 gb of ram and editing on it isn’t as smooth as it sounds

well i have duo 2 ghz or whatever that is3 gb ramsome intel grapics card thats lets me get 2 fps on the sims lollike a 150 gb hddbut im geting a nivada geforce grapichs card that pepole say they can get 400 fps on halo i think that will be at least 500-600fps on my sims 3
