I just bought the Canon DC330 DVD Camcorder (uses 8cm DVDs) and have been trying for 5 hours to edit my footage. It is impossible! The editing software will not pull up the footage to edit, only to view. Did I choose the wrong camcorder if I am wanting to do a lot of video editing (for internet use)? What is the best type of camcorder to buy if you plan on editing all your footage?

I just bought a Sony HD camcorder (HDR SR10) but the quality of the videos are very grainy even though the resolution is 1920×1080. When I go outside where its very bright, the quality is very good but when I’m in my living room, where there’s a decent amount of light, the quality’s really grainy. Is this normal?

i have a Sony HDD Camcorder, and i connect it to a PC, and it reads it fine as a Hard Disk Drive and it has all the contents, pics and mpeg clips, BUT…i connect it to my MacBook and it reads it, the pics, also the Mpegs, BUT FOR SOME REASON WHEN I TRY TO PLAY THE MPEGS it says “NOT VALID VIDEO FILE”
anyone know how i can fix this or why this comes out on OSX ? ?
