Is it possible for me to burn data DVDs by connecting my PC to a DVD recorder?

22 Mar

I own a LG DVD & HDD recorder (RH4820W), was wondering if i could utilize the DVD recorder as a DVD writer drive?
The only way I can connect my PC to the DVD recorder is through the IEEE 1934 port for DV camcorders.

Also, Are there any software available on the net to help solve this problem?

That’s the only DVD writer in my home, and I dont’ want to set myself back S$200 to get another PC – based version!

Thanks in advance!
