Folks, I meant “technology wise old”, but they are in really excellent condition. They work just fine, but they are so bulky for these days. I did not want just throw away, since we paid big bucks for them right before today’s high technology burst. I checked on ebay about the possibility of selling them. Almost not worth to spend time & money to list. Is there any other way I can donate somewhere or get a few bucks for them? I appreciate any suggestions. Thank you all.

All the top of the line HDTV’s, LCD’s, Speakers, Stereos, Cameras, Camcorders, Music Players, cell phones, etc, are all Japanese/Korean companies like Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Toshiba, LG, Hitachi, etc.
Cannot think of one single American company, why is that?
I thought American technology is the best in the world, and should stay in the forefront in these electronics markets? Is there a deep reason for it?

Also is is better to buy a DVD or mini DVD
My laptop will burn DVD’s so my options are open, I just dont know much about camcorders – I need something that has alot of bang for the buck !
