I have had this problem with a few cameras. I use Windows Movie Maker and a lot of cameras don’t import directly into it. Can this camera import directly into wmm without using a converter. I’ve tried using converters before but I have never been happy with the resulting video quality. If it doesn’t work with wmm, what editing software does it work with?

I own a Sony DVD video camera. I can’t stand using Nero to edit, I prefer the simple drag and drop of Windows Movie Maker. The video from my camera is, of course, not compatible with the program. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

i really need to get the video files of the mini dvd disc but i cant. ive used 6 computers and i still cant get them. all the computers say the dick is blank but when i put in my camcorder, it plays them! im so confused!

I have got one of those HDD camcorders that I brought like 2 years ago. I’ve recorded alot of stuff and am now wanting to put them onto a DVD. However everything’s in .MOD and .MOI files and it’s really annoying! How do I condense everything and convert them (maybe into WMA or AVI?) so that they can be put onto DVD and watched on a regular DVD player? A small section of film is like 10MB and I have got like hundreds of sections so the whole film will probably be like 10GB! How do I condense everything?

We have a DVD camcorder. We shoot home movie. We when shoot the movie, we then finalize it and put the disk into the computer. The only option it gives us is to watch what is already there, and it is called ‘read only’. When we put the disc back into the camcorder and connect it via usb. We see the files, but they read as IFO. These files are not able to be used in a video editing, like Pinnacle or Windows Movie Maker. How can we change these files to MPEG or AVI.
Never mind, the videos are not IFOs thats something else but I still cant use the video.
