I am planning to buy a dv cam and I found that pocket or mini dv cams are good to my budget than normal dv cams. Also unknown brands are a lot cheaper than popular brands such as Canon and JVC. Here in the Philippines I got confused in choosing between Aiptek and Brica products. Which brands are good quality and is durable and dependable and is legit too?.I came across DV cams that is multi-purpose like having mp3,games,voice recorder and etc which degrades or limiting the original function which is Video Recording. I had been into many stores and a lot of them are Aiptek and Brica.
Where can I get a digital to analog cable? Will Paypal/mail $15 to good answer?

I have a Samsung SCL700 camcorder and I am looking for a cable that will connect it to my PC and transfer the audio and video into digital format.
Does anybody know what website sells one of these? I’m trying to convert my 8mm tapes I took over the last few years. Will paypal $15 to first right answer, just message me your paypal email or home address. I’md esperate because I can’t find one!

I want:
something $200 or under, but I would possibly consider $250 if it was extraordinary
HD because Im taking it to Europe and I want EXCELLENT quality, or at least better than a DVD recorder which I already have.
Internal memory is fine but it has to have a memory card slot. SD would be ideal but I guess I could work with something else.
Ive looked little ones like the flip (dont like it) but something similar, its a sony. It was good reviews but Im not sure if I want that because it wont be easy to stabilize.
and if its compatible with Mac, that would be great because we’re getting them through school this fall.
