Ask Camcorders

As of now, i use my parents old tape recording camcorder which i have to plug in to my computer if I want to capture a video for youtube. Is the Flip good for allowing me to film something like a drum cover and then transfer it to my computer to edit later. Would the flip be overwhelmed by the sound of the drums or could it stand it.

I am looking for a good camera for my son who wants to make short films and use some kind of editing software on them. I would like to spend about $150 to $200. Where would I buy one too.

I need a DVD Camcorder that can hook up to a computer for EAST Lab….Can you help me?

I have a Samsung miniDVD camcorder but I don’t like it and I’m looking into buying a different one. I usually just use it for holidays and family get-togethers but now I want one that also can do night vision. Help me out here, please! Thanks

What brands? Where to get one?

I bought the Canon FS10 flash camcorder. It’s the same as the FS100, except it has 8GB internal memory. Video looks great outside in the sun, but it loses a lot of quality inside my house, even during the daytime.

I’ve heard that all digital cameras have trouble in low-light.

Is there any camcorder in the $300-$500 range that performs well both in low-light and well-lighted conditions?

I want to buy a camcorder. What the difference between the following camcorders dvd, mini-dvd, hard drive, high-definition, point and shoot, and hi8? What type is the best camcorder? What features should it have? what features not worth getting? describe to me the features.

I’m looking for a moderately priced digital camcorder that will record high quality footage in low level light situations, but also have really good sound quality. Mostly for recording live music in small club type settings. Geek speak is Greek to me. I get really confused when people talk about bites and pixels and whatnot. I just want something that can see in the (not completly) dark without being green.

I want to buy a descent hybrid camcorder this weekend. I want one that has excellent picture/sound quality, and one that stays in focus, and will also take still shots. Does anyone have any advise they can share with me?

I want to buy an HD camcorder that is cheap. I’ve been looking at some, but I am wondering what is a cheap HD camera that has pretty good quality? (about $150 or less)

I’m thinking about getting that camcorder. I’m just wandering your opinion on this. Is it a good investment or is there something out there about that price thats better???
