I just bought one and need to one to use the still shot feature (and I’m pretty sure I need it to upload any videos to my computer). I want to know what kind are compatible (are there any at walmart?)

I’m confused about the “video” and looking for a simple, specific answer. I know that memory sticks in general are for Sony cameras specifically. But is it only for camcorders or will it work on still image cameras, as well? Generally, I know that the regular memory sticks are cheaper…but if I can get a really good deal on an 8GB high definition pro duo…will it work, yes or no?
And note: That was supposed to say Sandisk 4 and 8GB High Definition Video Memory Stick Pro Duos. It specifically says 60 mins of video for the 4GB and 120 mins of video for the 8GB. But I’m simply wondering if it can be used for pictures, instead.

32GB SDHC memory card for my Canon HF20 HD Camcorder?

I just bought a 32GB SDHC memory card for my Canon HF20 HD Camcorder. I assumed it would work for video as well as pictures, but it only works for my pictures. When I go to menu, it’ll allow me to change “Rec Media for Movies” from ‘Built-in Mem.’ to ‘Mem. Card’, and in the Mem. Card info it says ‘Class 6′, ‘Total space……33.5GB’.
But under ‘Available’ it says 0h00m and when I try to record, a message pops up: “Cannot record movies on this memory card Initialize only using the camcorder”. I don’t know what that means. =( If it just means this type of card doesn’t work for recording video, then what cards will? Can someone please help me?

Alright so i filled up the hard drive on my JVC Everio camcorder and now its making me record onto the memory card that is in it, and the memory card is only a 1GB and i cant record much onto it… How do i make it record back onto the hard drive and not the memory card? Please help ASAP.

I have a JVC Digital video cam and it says that you can use it for web conferences as webcam. I can’t figure out how to do this. I’ve tried going to the JVC site, but no luck. I’ve tried checking on MSN Help, but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
