I want a small camera to use at rock concerts that wont have horrible sound quality. I was considering the Flip HD, but not sure. HD would be prefered, but as long as the sound is good and not over clouded by bass.

I have a Samsung camcorder and I used the mini discs to store my video. I tried to hook up the video to my pc with the disc in the camcorder and that didnt work. Then I tried taking the disc out and playing it like any other disc and the computer read it but there was nothing on the CD. I can watch it clearly from the camcorder but how do I get it onto the PC so I can start editing???

Now I know the question in a sense sums up what I want to know but I might as well add to it… right? Anyway, I need to get around four HD camcorders that will be used to film a total 98 hours of footage and then edited together for the final video> I would prefer the footage not to be compressed by the camcorder as to preserve quality and such. I have built a computer for mass amounts of editing(I won’t list the full specs but I’ll say it’s powered by a Intel Core i7 920) with 4tb of storage(2x 2tb HDDs) so the uncompressed size of the source footage of the camcorders shouldn’t be a worry.
If you need any more information or anything like that please just say, and I will be more then happy to add more.

I have a sony DVD camcorder, and I’m relatively computer literate, but I just wasn’t able to turn my small 8 inch dvd – rewriteable into an actual DVD. Can I have some help? Or a small tutorial maybe? I have Nero if that helps…

I’m looking for a video camera that has a great picture. I want to know if the Canon GL2 is better than the smaller, handheld Hi-Def cameras… or if the HD camcorders do, in fact, output a better picture.
