What is the best way to transfer 8MM home movies?

Should I go digital, CD or DVD? I’ve got 40 tapes that are 2 hours long each. My original camcorder is broken. Is there 8MM players? Need advice!

    All you need is a Digital8 camcorder. They are still available from Sony through Amazon and similar suppliers.
